Timeline of Major Events

1937:  (Episode I:  We Were Always Magicians)  Nuclear Fission achieved for the first time, leading to Manhattan project.

1939:  World War II

1969:  First Man on the Moon

1991:  Soviet Union Collapses.

2015:  Calvin the 3rd takes over the Illuminati.

2025:  (Episode II:  Nanomancer)

2027:  First manned mission to Mars.

2037:  (Episode III:  Scion of the Magemarks)  World revolution overthrows the current power structure and ushers in a planetary society and post scarcity.

2056:  Fusion technology becomes viable on a large scale.

2060:  Anti aging technology becomes viable, aging related death largely eliminated in humanity.

2074:  First manned missions to outer solar system.

2090:  Colonies established on Ganymede, Europa and Callisto.

2100:  Officially marked as beginning of Nano Age, building blocks of nano tech so well established they become ubiquitous.

2176:  Antimatter successfully stored in safe and cheap way, leads to breakthrough in many areas.

2196:  More humans now live in space or on other planets than on Earth.  Earth continues to maintain a dominant roll both culturally and scientifically, but humanity is now spread throughout the solar system.

2200:  Political order in the solar system is now somewhat entrenched, each planetary system has it's own political structure, Mars is more Earth like in it's ways, running a capitalist/socialist hybrid system, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus each have empires controlling their respective systems, unable to project power far outside their planets vicinity.

2214:  (Episode IV:  The Road to Ganymede)  Ganymede rebels against the Jovian Empire.  Victorious at first, the revolution is quickly coopted by a strong man dictator who asserts control and wipes out leftist opposition.

2216:  (Episode V:  The Cauldron's Fire)  The Jovian Empire invades Ganymede, a bloody and destructive war follows, finally the Empire is forced to withdraw leaving Gaymede in chaos.

2219:  (Episode VI:  Fury Dragon Slayer)  Ganymede is rocked by a massive civil war as a fanatical rebel group threatens to take over everything.  Finally a coalition of warriors rise up and destroy the fanatical group once and for all.

2256:  First interstellar colony missions.

2297:  First contact with Alien species, Draconian reptilians encountered on a colony mission, first contact was successful and leads to an alliance with the Dracon.  They share a vast wealth of knowledge with humanity, there are several other Alien species, The Mantis insectoids who are part of the alliance (Which becomes the Triple alliance), the mysterious Lychanids who are fungal based intelligence living in a distant corner of the known Galaxy, and the Silicates, silicone based life which is the main threat to the Alliance.

3153:  Humanity enters the Singularity Age, harnessing the power of black holes in a safe and cheap way.

4500:  (Episode VII:  The Ark's Horizon)  On board a Dyson Sphere in a distant solar system, an AI who helped build the Dyson Sphere (Called The Ark) organizes an invasion of the Ark by Silicates.  After capturing the Ark, the AI (Called Metachron) takes over the whole station as his body.

4700:  Sent to check out unusual activity at star system Z-715 on the frontier between Terran space and Silicate space, the crew discovers a plan to breed bio weapons to infect Terran worlds.  Called Infestoids, the bioweapons transmit as a pathogen that infects the host with millions of eggs, eventually consuming the host and growing into massive beast like monsters. A Silicate fleet arrives,  realizing they have to stop the plan, the crew heads back to earth to gather a fleet.

4780:  Humanity rallies a fleet at earth to destroy the bioweapon threat of Z-715.

4860:  Terran fleet arrives at Z-715, battle of Deneb, Silicates are defeated and the planet is purged of all Infestoid activity.

4960:  (Episode VIII:  The Heralds of Draconis)  Draconian Empire is invaded by Silicates, Metachron has turned The Ark into a mobile base for the Silicate army.  The Ark arrives in Draconian space and begins to deploy attack fleets.  Millions of worlds are conquered.  The attack slows but nearly 1/3 of Draconian space is occupied.  The Ark continues to accelerate and exits Draconian Pace, headed for Silica Prime.

4963:  Crew rallies a massive Terran fleet, then, while the fleet is still assembling, they head to Draconian space to fight.

5080:  Crew arrives at Draconian space, the situation is desperate, the Silicate Army is advancing on Alpha Draconis.  Worse still, a massive Silicate fleet is on its way, the Terran fleet is also coming but no one knows who will get there first.

5300:  Silicate fleet arrives just months before the Terran fleet, the battle has become an entrenched conflict, the massive Silicate fleet is unlike anything they have yet faced, holding out but losing ground fast, they Draconians and their allies fight to survive the just months remaining until the Terran's arrive.  Finally, the Terran fleet arrives and begins liberating system after system, the Silicates are in full retreat.

5364:  Final Silicate held systems are liberated, Fleet retreats back to Silicate Space.

5421:  (Episode IX:  Crucible of Dawn)  Terrans receive news that Metachron and the Silicates have launched an invasion of Earth, they scramble to mobilize defenses.  Crew journeys to Lichen Prime in order to meet with Lychanid Collective and ask for aid.

5580-  Crew Arrives at Lychin Prime and convinces the Collective to help the Terrans.

5738:  Silicate fleet reaches Terran space, Battle ensues, the war spills across a thousand systems, the Terrans hold the invasion back but without reinforcement defeat appears inevitable.

5740:  At the brink of defeat, Lychanid fleet arrives to aid the Terrans, defeating the Silicates and finally destroying the Ark, killing Metachron.
